About Cida Moraes

Abstract painting fascinates me; colors are the soul of my creation. My process is essentially intuitive: I let the tones speak to me, guiding each gesture on the canvas.

I believe each color carries an intention: to convey joy, peace, lightness, or to provoke reflection. Through them, I establish a form of communication that goes beyond words, a silent dialogue with the world.

Conceiving a work of mine without color is like imagining a sky without a horizon; it would still have form, but would lack depth and emotion. My art is a record of the present, which in the future will become memory, a way of looking at the past with new layers of meaning.
